The wonderful Portland-based singer, Colleen Raney, and I have a new acoustic duo album out. It’s called “Cuan”, the Irish word for “harbour” , “haven” or “bay” - a place where land meets the sea.

Over a few weeks in the late summer and early autumn we were lucky enough to get some time at the Secret Society studios in Portland, and the time and patience of our mixing engineer Ezra Holbrook to put this together. 

The music is unadorned, with only Colleen’s knowing voice and guitar arrangements to carry the stories of journey and sea. We wanted to let the songs speak for themselves, and to duplicate our sound from live duo concerts. We hope you like it!
